Making a Reservation

Event requests must be submitted through the Event Management System (EMS). Reservations are not confirmed until you receive an official confirmation email. Please note that events cannot be confirmed more than six months in advance.

Rooms 102A and 102B

Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and students can reserve Pettit 102A and/or 102B for official Georgia Tech events.

Space Equipment and Policies

AV Capabilities

  • Pettit 102A and B include projector screens, wireless handheld and lavalier microphones, slide presenters, laptop connections, and HD cameras. These rooms can support live streaming.
  • Event hosts are responsible for arranging AV staffing.
  • To schedule an AV walkthrough before your event, contact ims-building@gatech.edu 
  • For AV troubleshooting during your event, contact GT Audiovisual Services at https://avservices.gatech.edu/ or 404-385-1111 

Food and Catering

  • Events must follow Georgia Tech policies, including the Catering Providers Policy and the Campus Alcohol Policy.
  • A small kitchenette is available between Pettit 102A and 102B for event hosts and caterers to use for staging. Please ensure it is cleaned after your event.
  • We participate in the Green Forks Initiative, a campus program that provides event food leftovers to students facing food insecurity. To donate leftovers, contact the Green Forks team at https://dining.gatech.edu/greenforks 
  • We can provide up to three 6’ tables for food staging (and for sign-in stations, swag pickup, etc).
  • Event hosts are responsible for cleanup after the event, including food disposal and waste removal.
